We were so happy to sponsor this year’s Mediterranean Machine Learning summer school in Split, an event that brought together some of the world's top experts and talents in the fields of Machine Learning and AI.
Contributing to events like these is a crucial task for a company that conducts research and development. Not only did we help enable young researchers and engineers to attend, but we also learned a great deal ourselves, connected with wonderful people, and had the opportunity to showcase some of our recent work and future perspectives.
Our very own research engineer, Filip Mirković, participated in the Summer School and presented our recent work on Synthetic Data for High-Dimensional Medical Peptidomics. He emphasized the importance of preserving privacy, an issue that is more relevant than ever today. We were moved by the number of interesting questions, clever suggestions, and amazing feedback we received while interacting with other participants.
This event was truly a unique hub for learning and collaboration. We want to extend a huge thank you to the organizers, Francesco Romano, Matko Bošnjak, Milica Brković, and others, for making this possible. We also want to thank all the supporters, including Google DeepMind, University College London, University of Cambridge, and of course, all the participants! We can’t wait to be a part of more events like this one!
