After almost 2 months, expedition PS152 is finished. From Walvis Bay in Namibia to Antarctica, Neumayer III station and sea ice field work, and then to Punta Arenas in Chile. Almost 40 thousand kilometers total. It was a blast! Being part of such an amazing bunch of people who all collaborate towards the same goal, making good science and data to support it. For Pulsar Labs, this is a major stepping stone in building a critical environment hardware and an important experience on deploying such systems in the field, to further extend our ability to continue producing excellent hardware that works, no compromise, and in any environment, from space to polar areas. πŸ‡­πŸ‡· πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ά πŸ’ͺ

We like to do cool things, and sometimes the work we do takes us to strange and unusual parts of the planet or above it. 🌍
This time, in collaboration with Bruncin, British Antarctic Survey and Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, we are supporting AWI PS152 WOBEC expedition to the Weddell Sea and resupply of the Neumayer 3 station at Antarctica!
Aboard the Polarstern research vessel, our CEO Ante Medić will help with deploying the hardware supporting the science that BAS and AWI are doing.
Proud to see Croatian-built hardware not just in orbit but also in the polar regions.
Expedition will last almost 2 months from early december 2025 to early february 2026, and will leave from Walvis Bay, Namibia, and end up in Punta Arenas, Chile. Looking forward to building more critical environment hardware and collaborations in the future! Stay tuned for updates from the expedition!
