DOK-ING and Dynamit Nobel Defence have joined forces and introduced the Unmanned Mine-scattering System. A transformative integration that advances counter-mobility operations and sets a new benchmark for modern warfare.

DOK-ING's MV-8 KOMODO unmanned hybrid platform, equipped with Dynamit Nobel Defence's SKORPION2 scatterable anti-tank system, deploys structured anti-tank obstacles within minutes, keeping every operator out of harm’s way.

This is defence innovation at its finest: smarter, faster, safer. Together, we are setting the new standard.

As modern warfare evolves, next-generation unmanned systems are the future of efficient and decisive defence.

On April 20th, DOK-ING and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine (Міністерство економіки, довкілля та сільського господарства України) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in humanitarian demining.

Signed in Geneva during the Ukraine Mine Action Partner Coordination Workshop, this is not just about demining; it is about redefining how Ukraine tackles some of its most complex and high-risk environments.

At the core of this cooperation:
• Advancing solutions for UXO-contaminated forests and wildfire risk management
• Scaling mechanical humanitarian demining across Ukraine
• Strengthening Ukrainian operators through technology, training, and local support
• Expanding access to equipment via rental and leasing models
• Developing next-generation robotic solutions for complex terrain
• Building long-term capabilities through knowledge transfer and localization
• Deepening international coordination in mine action

This Memorandum reflects a shift from isolated efforts to a more integrated, scalable, and sustainable approach to land release.

DOK-ING remains committed to Ukraine not only as a technology provider, but as a long-term partner on the ground.

During today's official visit to Croatia, U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker visited our company, where we had the distinct honor of hosting him alongside U.S. Ambassador to Croatia Nicole McGraw and Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Ivan Anušić , and other distinguished members of the U.S. diplomatic and military delegation.

This visit was an opportunity to present DOK-ING’s portfolio, vision, and over 34 years of innovations that resulted in shaping today's unmanned systems landscape.

Walking together through the hallway that traces our company’s history, we have marked one moment particularly significant. The delivery of nearly 150 unmanned demining systems to the U.S. Army stands as a milestone we take great pride in. Having members of the U.S. delegation walk alongside this timeline today added special meaning, reminding us of a long-standing partnership built on trust, reliability, and shared commitment.

We also presented our newest unmanned system, KOMODO with Mine-scattering module, designed for counter-mobility operations, which was recently demonstrated at the Croatian Army's training ground Eugen Kvatering in Slunj.

We are especially proud that DOK-ING, as a company based in Croatia, a committed NATO member, delivers advanced and reliable solutions that strengthen the Alliance’s collective security and defence capabilities.

By working together and embracing technological advancement, we continue to build a more secure, resilient, and unified future.

DOK-ING 's CEO, Gordan Pešić, participated in the “New Industrial Strategy” conference, which convened leading Croatian industry figures to discuss the industrial opportunities, potential, and future.

At the panel "Leaders of Croatian Industry: Energy, Infrastructure, and Strategic Manufacturing," leading executives underscored the essential role of industry as a catalyst for resilience, innovation, and sustainable growth. Key topics included technological sovereignty, the evolving trajectory of Croatian industry, and the growing influence of advanced technologies.

Gordan Pešić reflected on the technologies that will shape the next decade:
“It is clear that robotics and autonomous systems will play an increasingly important role, particularly in the context of reducing risks for humans and improving operational efficiency. In addition, artificial intelligence will have a key role, but primarily as a tool that supports decision-making and system management, rather than as a standalone solution. Equally important will be modularity, the ability for the same systems to adapt to different purposes, as well as the integration of various technologies into functional wholes.”

He also emphasized:
“To achieve true technological sovereignty, Europe must go beyond strategies and align its entire ecosystem, linking innovation, production, and market demand into a cohesive and responsive system. Ultimately, competitiveness will depend on the ability to act, delivering industrial capabilities quickly, reliably, and at scale from within Europe’s own industrial base."

It was a valuable opportunity to contribute to this discussion. Conversations like this openly address challenges and later create the foundation for crucial changes and progress.

Today marks the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, a day dedicated to highlighting the dangers of landmines and the critical importance of demining efforts worldwide.

According to the United Nations, every hour, someone is killed or injured by landmines, explosive remnants of war, or improvised explosive devices, many of them children. This painful statistic underscores that the issue continues to impact lives and communities around the world.

While Croatia was officially declared mine-free on March 1st, many countries still face the problem of heavily contaminated land.

In clearing contaminated land, deminers and demining machines play a crucial role; they are the heartbeat of the process. Their work goes beyond removing danger: they save lives, restore safety and dignity, enable community development, and help lay the foundations for lasting peace. Investing in mine action is not only a technical necessity but also an investment in a sustainable future.

DOK-ING remains devoted to developing technologies that save lives and support communities on their journey toward a safer future.

That is why we particularly chose this image from a Ukrainian postage stamp to honor this day. It powerfully captures, in a single scene, the danger, the courage, the process, and the new life growing.

The conclusion of this year’s CTRO Symposium marks more than the end of another gathering - it symbolizes the closing of one of Croatia’s most difficult chapters.

A problem that once defined entire regions with fear and uncertainty has now been resolved. Croatia is mine-free!

Years of challenge have shaped a unique depth of knowledge and expertise, one that now extends far beyond Croatia’s borders. This year’s symposium reflected exactly that: a shift from national achievement to global responsibility. That is why we are committed to transforming our experience, our knowledge, and the sacrifices made into something greater - restoring safety and hope in regions still affected by mines.

One of the key moments of the symposium was the contribution of our Chief Technical Advisor, Konstantin Darmaniyan, who continues to share DOK-ING’s extensive expertise and its ever-evolving advanced technologies.

We are proud that our systems have played a key role in clearing the majority of contaminated land in Croatia over the past 30+ years. In Ukraine alone, over the past few years, we have cleared about 30 million m², destroyed around 10,000 UXOs, and trained about 300 Ukrainian operators.

Today, we celebrate a mine-free Croatia and are more committed than ever to ensuring this legacy paves the way for new beginnings in all areas where mines have taken away hope and spread fear.
