🔬 A decade ago, editing genes was a slow, labor-intensive process. Today, researchers are exploring AI-powered simulations with the potential to predict genetic modifications more effectively.

💊At Cytocast, we're excited about the future possibilities of AI in biology, imagining a world where we can anticipate how gene edits might influence entire biological systems, dramatically reducing trial-and-error and opening doors to faster scientific breakthroughs.

🤔But here's a thought: Could we uncover genetic possibilities we don't yet fully understand as AI advances?

❓Would you feel comfortable trusting AI-guided gene editing in humans, or should we always ensure human oversight?

Let's discuss — I'm curious to hear your perspectives! 👇

TechBio vs. Biotech: what’s the difference?

🔬 Biotech focuses on molecular biology, genetic engineering, and lab research to develop new drugs and therapies.

🤖 TechBio leverages AI, big data, and computational biology to simulate biological processes, accelerating drug discovery before wet-lab experiments begin.

🔑 Key distinction? Biotech engineers life in the lab, while TechBio models life digitally to optimize real-world applications.

At Cytocast, we're firmly in the TechBio space—using AI and computational approaches to envision the future of biology.

Are we heading toward a TechBio-driven future? Let’s discuss! 👇

📝🎉We are proud to announce that our team members — Fichó, Szalma, and Csikász-Nagy — have contributed to a groundbreaking study published in Nature Neuroscience:

👉Microglia dysfunction, neurovascular inflammation and focal neuropathologies are linked to IL-1- and IL-6-related systemic inflammation in COVID-19

🧐The research uncovers an epigenetic mechanism that regulates the timing of human neuronal maturation, offering new insights into brain development. This discovery holds significant potential for advancing our understanding of neurological diseases and developing novel therapeutic strategies.

💪We are proud to be part of this innovative work that exemplifies our commitment to pushing the boundaries of scientific knowledge.
