iKomp® has partnered collaborated with municipalities, waste and sewage treatment companies in its design, consulting, and construction activities in Hungary as well as abroad. ProfiKomp® has managed their biological waste utilization activities from design through the procurement of necessary technological elements to putting plants into operation. ProfiKomp® experts have put more than 60 waste treatment plants into operation in Hungary, numerous European Union and other countries. Using diverse raw materials and biodegradable wastes, these plants now produce valuable soil improvement and yield-enhancing products. Besides this, ProfiKomp® is also a market leader in the field of mechanical-biological waste treatment. We have outstanding references for stabilizing and/or drying residual (mixed) municipal solid waste, which, without exception, satisfy disposal limit values (AT4, GB21, TOC) and energetic parameters (moisture content, calorific value) in any given country. ProfiKomp® also places great emphasis on research and development projects. Accordingly, it has participated in several international and Hungarian R+D projects in which it carried out innovation activities in cooperation with various companies, universities and research institutes. In order to disseminate scientific knowledge, novel technological solutions and opportunities in waste management as well as to present R+D+I results, ProfiKomp® has published several professional books, textbooks and other publications.
