A Cellfactory Kft. a Széchenyi Terv Plusz program keretében a „KKV-k innovációs képességének támogatása” c. felhívásra benyújtott, GINOP_PLUSZ-2.1.3-24-2024-00349 azonosítószámmal nyilvántartott „A Cellfactory Kft. folyamatinnovációs fejlesztése” c. kérelme 49,23 millió forint vissza nem térítendő támogatásban részesült.

The most important part of our day happens before we even touch a pipette.

The "gowning" process is a choreographed ritual. Hairnets, hoods, coveralls, boots, and double-gloves. It takes time, it takes discipline, and it’s the first line of defence for our clients' products.

It might look like a lot of effort, but in the world of GMP, discipline is the foundation of quality.

There's a quiet, underrated art to doing something exactly the same way, every single time.

In cell manufacturing, that consistency is the whole point, and it takes a particular kind of person to deliver it: someone who finds reassurance, not boredom, in a well-written protocol followed to the letter. We value that temperament enormously, because it's what turns a good process on paper into a dependable one, batch after batch.

Reliability is rarely glamorous and almost never celebrated. It's also essential to everything we promise.

Choosing a manufacturing partner is a high-stakes decision, so ask the hard, slightly awkward questions early rather than late.

How do you handle deviations when they happen? What's your real track record with cell lines like mine? Who, specifically, would run my project day to day, and how often would I hear from them? The honest answers reveal far more about how a facility works than any glossy brochure.

We'd encourage you to ask us every one of them, and we'll always answer plainly.

The road from a promising bench result to an approved therapy is long, uncertain, and demanding, and very few teams should walk it alone.

We exist to share that journey: the facilities, the regulatory experience and the hard-won manufacturing discipline to help your science reach a finish line that's usually further off than it looks. The breakthrough science is yours. The path from there to the patient is something we can carry together.

Wherever you are on that path, we'd like to help you take the next step.

Two words are shaping the future of cell therapy: allogeneic and autologous.

Autologous therapies use a patient's own cells, which makes them deeply personal but also complex and hard to scale. Allogeneic therapies use screened donor cells to treat many people from one source, promising far broader reach while raising fresh questions about manufacturing, matching and consistency. Both will help define the decade ahead, and neither is going away.

We're building the flexibility to support either path, since the field itself hasn't yet decided.

Not all cells grow the same way, and that one distinction shapes everything downstream.

Adherent cells need a surface to attach to, which makes scaling them up a real engineering challenge. Suspension cells float freely in their media and are usually much easier to grow at scale. Choosing between the two, or adapting a line from one to the other, is one of the biggest calls you make early in development, and a hard one to reverse later.

Understand your cell line's preferences from the start, and you'll avoid a lot of expensive surprises down the line.

For many startups, the temptation to keep manufacturing "in-house" is strong. But the hidden costs—facility maintenance, regulatory filings, and QA staffing—can quickly drain a R&D budget.

Outsourcing to a specialised CDMO like Cellfactory doesn't just offload the work; it offloads the risk. Use our infrastructure to keep your capital focused on the science.

We'd like to introduce you to CellFactory. 🔬
We're a contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) working to advance stem cell treatments, based in our GMP-compliant facility in Szeged, Hungary.
Our team brings together scientists and quality-assurance specialists who really know cell therapy design and the regulatory standards that come with it. It's careful, detailed work, and we love what it makes possible.
Come and see how we do it.
