Here is a list of the improvements between our 2021 and 2023 models of Old Danube kayak ergometers:
- Laser cut sheet metal parts with more details like logos and numbers and finer edges (2023 model) compared to punch cut sheet metal parts (2021 model)
- Laser cut flywheel drag setting indication numbers (2023 model)
- Quickly separatable into two section for transportation. 2023 model: No tools needed. 2021 model: Allen key needed.
- Suitable for taller athletes (2021 model: max height ~190-195 cm; 2023 model: max height 205 cm)
- Steel parts for the Garmin speed sensor reduction belt drive on 2023 model (2021: all 3d printed plastic) The reduced rotation speed is better for sensor performance
- Laser cut markings for the seat linear adjustment (2023 model only)
- Aesthetic improvements of sheet metal parts
- Shorter assembly time after unboxing
