Bags for marimba, vibraphone and percussion instruments have been sewn since 2000 in our studio. Our customers include: Adams,,Yamaha, Studio49, Oxford University, the Swedish Armed Forces, numerous high schools, music schools and conservatories in Germany and Europe. ia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Hungary. We produce marimba bags ( marimba taschen ) for every marimba, vibraphone and also some percussion instruments. For our bags we are using cordura, inside with the color avocado , outside black. Cordura is a very strong and resilient textile made of polypropylene fibres, which offer amazing strength and resilience to wear and tear and other mechanical damages. The edges of the bags are made with webbing from polypropylene , 4cm for bags and 5cm for the shoulder straps.
2cm thick sponge made from polystyrol ( inside 1 cm and 0,5 cm for the bars ) protects our soft bags from every damages. Custom-built products for every models!
