Waste management has become a major concern for the sustainability of Indonesia's fisheries industry. According to data from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, 2 million tons of waste from national fisheries production are discarded and left unutilized each year.

FishLog has taken a proactive approach to addressing this issue by launching the Waste Management Program, supported by UNDP and BPDLH through the Catalytic Fund. Hopefully, this initiative will be a good start in reducing waste and providing benefits for coastal communities. 🌍✨️
