On Thursday, February 27, 2025, MAB willingly attended the IEEE SSCS and CAS Distinguished Lecture 2025.

The session included an informative discussion of the creation of low-cost lab-on-chip devices for biosensor platforms. Key topics discussed included methodologies for building low-cost biosensors, including conductive ink patterning, molecular receptor design using bioinformatics, nanomaterial synthesis for label-free sensors, bioreceptor insertion, fluidic platform fabrication, and reader design.

We extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Allen J. Bard, a renowned expert in the field of electrochemistry.We share our grief during this time of bereavement and offer our deepest sympathy and condolences.

Allen J. Bard is known as the "Father of Modern Electrochemistry." He served as the Hackerman-Welch Regents Chair Professor and Director of the University of Texas at Austin's Center for Electrochemistry. Bard invented the scanning electrochemical microscope, co-discovered electrochemiluminescence, made significant discoveries in the photoelectrochemistry of semiconductor electrodes, and co-authored a major textbook. He has won numerous renowned scientific honors, published over 1,000 academic papers, written three books, and obtained over 30 patents.

Rest in peace. Allen J. Bard, your dedication will continue to influence and inspire future scientists.

Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV).

On October 17, 2023, PT Mitra Asiatek Biosensor, as a partner engaged in electrochemical sensor-based products, attended the 3rd year Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV) of the LPDP RISPRO program in cooperation with proposer Isa Anshori, Ph.D., from the Institut Teknologi Bandung. The proposer developed an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) bioplatform device for detecting cardiac disease biomarkers. This cooperation is expected to create beneficial synergies for each other.
