๐ง A bellows-sealed globe valve is a type of globe valve that uses a flexible metallic bellows (typically welded to the valve stem and bonnet) to create a hermetic seal, preventing any leakage of process fluid to the atmosphere through the stem area.
๐ท Working Principle bellows-sealed globe valve is when open position; The valve open and the stem is raised, causing the bellows to expand. This movement lifts the disk away from the seat, allowing fluid to flow through the valve. Closed position; When the valve is closed, the stem is lowered, compressing the bellows. This movement presses the disk against the seat, stopping the fluid flow and maintaining a tight seal.
