We invested on high end automated equipment and rebar management software. Currently in Indonesia, predominantly most of the rebar work is being done at construction site. These practices of working rebar at the constr

uction site result in significant material wastage, logistic in efficiencies (double han dling), additional site cost, and most importantly imprecise and unsafe bends and cuts. By using our service, 60% to 70% of the rebar processing can be done in our factory. Thus, it will reduce the needs of on-site space, reduce and control material wastage, reduce the amount of on-site labor, improve on-site logistics, and improve efficiency and time schedule.

KANBAN FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT

KANBAN is one method of project management. MFAB is a manufacturing industry that believes this method helps problem-solve as effectively and efficiently as possible.

KANBAN (Japanese) is means visual or card. This high visualization makes it the team easier to communicate the request, progress, and done. By knowing these three things, every team member can be focused and effective in carrying out their duties.

In a classic Kanban board model, there are three columns; Followings:
“To Do”: This column lists the tasks that are not yet started or mean are requested to do.
“Doing”: Consists of the assignment that are in progress.
“Done”: Consists of the tasks that are complete.

Six rules for the application of kanban:
Each process issues requests (kanban) to its suppliers when it consumes its supplies.
Each process produces according to the quantity and sequence of incoming requests.
No items are made or transported without the request. A request associated with the item is attached. Processes must ensure that the finished products will be defect-free.
Limiting the number of pending requests makes the process more sensitive and reveals inefficiencies.
