🌍💙 Saving our oceans, one little hand at a time!

Our Emmerich Preschool students learned to sort trash into plastic, paper, and glass ♻️, and discovered how waste thrown in the wrong place can end up in the ocean 🌊.

Through a fun activity, they became little ocean heroes—cleaning “trash” to protect marine animals 🐠.

It began as a project.

The children worked hard to prepare their giving kiosk stands— setting up tables, creating the banner, preparing the price tags, arranging the food, and getting ready to welcome our community. Through this process, they practiced independence, teamwork, creativity, and responsibility.

When the doors opened, they proudly said, “Welcome, we’re open!”

More than just selling food, the children experienced the value of hard work, kindness, and giving to others.

Thank you to our wonderful community for supporting the children and being part of this meaningful learning experience. ❤️

Our K2 students designed and built their own miniature towns as part of their term project. Through this activity, they practiced planning ideas, teamwork, language development, and presenting their thinking with confidence.

Learning becomes meaningful when children create, explain, and take ownership of their ideas.
