Sugih Energy was established in Indonesia in March 1990, under the name PT Saranatama Unimada Gunabina International, later PT Sugi Samapersada. Traditionally a trading and energy services company, the company ventured into energy exploration in June 2006 with the goal of creating greater shareholder value from Indonesia’s vast natural resources. In March 2010, in line with the company’s new goal

of becoming an energy producer in Indonesia, the company again changed its name to PT Sugih Energy Tbk. The company aims to grow alongside Indonesia in its journey. The company was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2002.
