PT Platinum Ceramic Industry (PCI) was formerly known as PT Asia Victory Industry, Ltd. The company was developed in 1971 as a family owned business in Surabaya, the capital of East Java, Indonesia. Since 1974, the company has grown to become the leader and the biggest in Indonesian ceramics industry, with 8 factories in Karang Pilang, Surabaya and 2 other factories that built on 40 hectares land
at Lebaniwaras, Gresik. Through its 33 years of history, PCI has focused on its core objective – design and manufacture wall tile, floor tile, and decorative tile ceramics in many sizes and finishes. The focus has driven PCI to produce many innovative and contemporary designs in high quality. ASIA TILE is the first brand of PCI, that has been succeed to reach middle class customers. Inspired by the ASIA TILE success, PCI in 1994 launched second brand, PLATINUM, that aimed to reach upper class customers. As the pioneer in local ceramic industry for upper class, PLATINUM has shown its prime values by its design and quality that reflecting the customer’s life style and taste. Nowadays, PLATINUM has become trend setter in the market.
