We are now offering a wet and powder coat painting service. Bulk Storage Solutions - from Agricultural Co-ops and animal feed producers, Waste Water Treatment Utilities, Plastics and Biomass sectors we have supplied bulk storage solutions since 1968 through our V-Mac Silos range and handling equipment. We pride ourselves on our reputation for Quality and Service - a family run business since 1946, we are committed to setting and meeting high standards so that our customers are never disappointed. Our Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001 and our Health and Safety Management System to OHSAS 18001

One of our projects team specialties is the design and fabrication of large scale HVAC ducting up to 4m in diameter and associated Air Control Dampers. Our key machine capability includes the ability to laser cut 6m x 2m sheets of steel and fold up to 6m wide. We have 25 fabrication welders

We travelled out to the Volumetric Centre of Excellence in Cloghan last night to catch up with Manager Gabrial Bannigan, Captain Micheal Bannigan, Ryan McAnispie and Rory Beagan as they prepare for Sundays Ulster Final against Armagh where we launched the McAree Engineering Monaghan GAA Golf Classic. Huge thanks to Gabrial and the players for given up their time in a very busy week for them.

McAree Engineering Launches 2026 Monaghan GAA Golf Classic at Rossmore Golf Club
McAree Engineering is delighted to once again sponsor the annual Monaghan GAA Golf Classic, which will take place at the magnificent Rossmore Golf Club on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th May 2026.

Now firmly established as one of the standout sporting and social events in the county calendar, the Golf Classic continues to attract teams from across Monaghan and beyond for two great days of golf, networking, competition, and craic.

This year’s event will feature a superb €5,000 prize fund, with teams competing across a range of categories on the beautifully presented Rossmore course.

The Golf Classic plays an important role in supporting Monaghan GAA while also bringing together businesses, clubs, supporters, and friends of the county for an enjoyable and memorable occasion.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Brendan McAree from McAree Engineering said:

“We are proud to continue our sponsorship of the Monaghan GAA Golf Classic. It has become a fantastic annual event that combines great golf with great company, and it’s always brilliant to see such strong support from the local community and business sector. We’re looking forward to another hugely successful two days in Rossmore.”

Monaghan GAA Chairperson Padraig Sherry also welcomed the launch of the event, saying:

“The Monaghan GAA Golf Classic has become a hugely important and enjoyable event in our calendar each year. It provides fantastic support for Monaghan GAA while also bringing together people from clubs, communities, and businesses right across the county. We are extremely grateful to McAree Engineering for their continued sponsorship and commitment to Monaghan GAA, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to Rossmore Golf Club for what promises to be two excellent days.”

Teams are encouraged to book early due to strong demand in previous years.

A sincere thank you to everyone who supported and attended the reopening of the Vincie McAree Vintage Museum on Sunday, 10th May.

It was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout and so much interest in preserving and celebrating our engineering and vintage heritage.

A very special thank you to the Monaghan Vintage Club for their tremendous support and for displaying their working engines and mechanical devices dating back to the late 19th century — a truly remarkable exhibition enjoyed by all.
Special thanks also to Daragh and Drazen for showcasing their wonderful collections of Lego models, which added something unique and exciting to the day.

We would also like to thank everyone who helped get the museum ready for reopening, along with the parking stewards, tea ladies, music men, and all the McAree Engineering team who worked behind the scenes to help make the day such a success.

Your support, effort, and community spirit are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming many more visitors to the Vincie McAree Vintage Museum in the future.

We are seeking a CMC Machine (Press Brake) Operator to join our Evening Shift Team

Key Responsibilities
• Set up and prepare the CNC press brake machine for production.
• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
• Selecting and loading appropriate tooling and materials
• Producing parts to spec, checking quality and dimensions.
• Keeping your work area organised and maintaining high safety standards.
• Monday – Thursday 4pm – 2.30am.

About You
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings is essential
• Experience of Press Brakes or Plasma/Laser cutters
• Ability to work as part of a multicultural team
• Practical understanding of safe methods of work
• Excellent communication skills
• A technical qualification is desirable but not essential
