☀️ 400 solar panels installed across three sites — a positive step towards a more sustainable future for Lindab Ireland.
We’re proud to be part of Certa’s new Solar as a Service initiative, helping Irish businesses transition to renewable energy without the barrier of upfront investment.
Through this partnership with Certa Ireland , Alternative Energy Ireland- AEI and Wewise, Lindab Ireland is generating clean solar energy across our Dublin sites, supporting our commitment to reducing environmental impact and operating more sustainably.
Initiatives like this are an important part of our journey as we continue working to reduce emissions and support Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon future.

As we step into a new year, it’s a great time to reflect on what has been a positive and progressive year for Lindab Ireland.
Throughout the year, we’ve continued to strengthen our focus on sustainability, operational improvement and collaboration — from enhancing our waste management practices and embedding more circular ways of working, to supporting our customers with high-quality, efficient ventilation and building solutions.
Alongside this, we’ve continued to invest in our people, partnerships, training and innovation, while also recognising the importance of giving back. Supporting charitable initiatives remains an important part of who we are, helping us contribute positively to the communities in which we operate.

🌞 Expanding Solar Power Across Our Irish Operations
At Lindab Ireland, we’re taking real steps toward a cleaner future.
Over the past few months, new solar systems have been installed across our two Ballycoolin facilities and at A.C Manufacturing Ltd., our main production site.
Together, these systems now generate over 50,000 kWh of clean electricity every year — helping power our warehouses, offices, and manufacturing operations with renewable energy.
It’s another important milestone in reducing our emissions and strengthening our energy resilience.

✨ Project Highlight – Rochestown, Cork ✨
We’re proud to see our Lindab Rainline Rainwater system featured on this project in Rochestown, Co. Cork, alongside Lindab Dark Grey Cladding.
This installation is a great example of collaboration:
• Metal supplied by Glen Doyle
• Rainwater goods supplied by Barry McSweeney (SIG Ireland)
A special mention to SIG Ireland, who hold the exclusive distribution agreement for Lindab’s Rainline Rainwater product range in Ireland.

💜 DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland 💜
On Sunday evening, viewers across Ireland watched as Baz Ashmawy and the DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland team took on one of their toughest challenges yet in Killinarden, Tallaght — transforming the home of 9-year-old Cayden, who lives with a rare condition called Arthrogryposis, along with scoliosis.
Cayden’s home desperately needed widening of doors, a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and accessible entry so that he could move around freely and safely.
We at Lindab Ireland were honoured to stand beside the DIY SOS team and the wider community to support this life-changing project for Cayden and his family. Alongside volunteers, tradespeople, and suppliers, we contributed materials, expertise, and time to help create a home that works for him.
Cayden is the son of our colleague Ron, from A.C Manufacturing Ltd., a Lindab Group company — making this project especially close to our hearts.
