Another new partnership with a customer in the UK!
Wigan Council have partnered with Romaquip Ltd. to provide their entire new fleet of winter maintenance vehicles.
This new fleet consists of our stainless-steel permanent mount dry Ultima II spreaders mounted on Mercedes chassis c/w Snow Ploughs. The spreaders are a bespoke design c/w with all the latest innovations including our new auto greasing system for the salt distribution conveyor assembly.
Additionally, Romaquip have supplied 2no. winter maintenance vehicles to Wigan Council, in partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester to maintain the guided busways. The guided bus rollers were fully designed and manufactured in-house by Romaquip and the video below shows these vehicles successfully operating on a on TfGM guided busway in Wigan.
The new fleet is fully supported by our dedicated team of local engineers who provide service, support and training when required.
