Stage 4/5 MEP design. City of London. Purpose-Built Student Accommodation at Holborn Viaduct. We’re on it and we’re proud to be doing it alongside McAleer & Rushe & an excellent team 👏
The scheme will provide 669 student bedrooms across 12 storeys, supported by a 2-storey basement and a strong focus on student wellbeing, interaction and shared amenity. Facilities include a cinema room, music rooms, gym, games area, café/bar and external roof terraces.
Our role extends beyond MEP design, with our teams also providing Sustainability & Energy Engineering, Construction Services and BREEAM Consultancy across the project.
A key feature progressing over the coming weeks is the installation of the rainwater harvesting and greywater distribution system serving water closets throughout the building. These systems play an important role in improving water efficiency and reducing operational demand across large-scale residential developments.
With MEP first fix now progressing through multiple levels, the project continues to move forward at pace, demonstrating strong collaboration between client, contractor and consultant teams in one of the UK’s most demanding construction environments.
