“Another World first for Dan Morrisseys”

Dan Morrissey surfacing division recently got our hands on the all new Vogelle 1803-5i Prototype brought to Ireland ahead of it’s worldwide launch in Bauma 2025 next Month. We had to opportunity to put it through its paces and for the first time ever, place the long-time trusted AB500 screed side by side with it’s much anticipated successor. We elected to pave in Echelon for best comparison using our HIGH PSV SMA Surf for one of our County Council clients. Both pavers worked outstandingly! We wish the Writgen group best success with their Launch of another top class paver in Germany next month.

A huge congratulations to Marine Lenehan and Matteo Cigala on their recent success on the continent riding for Team Dan Morrissey.
Both Matteo and Marine won the Ladies and mens races in the Algarve Crono which took place in Portugal last month. This landed them both on the podium alongside Remco Evenepole!

Marine then took the Irish esports championship title before returning to the continent.

And then Marine, the reigning double European champion, went out at the weekend and only won the Iconic Strade Bianche GF. What a lady!
Huge congrats to both Marine and Matteo on their continued success.

A huge congratulations to all the riders and support team of the Carlow Dan Morrissey-Pactimo team on their opening stage of the Ras from Dublin to the Horse and Jockey, Co Tipperary. Having completed the distance in just over 3 hours at a phenomenal pace, they managed to take 2 prime placings in Dunlavin, Co Wicklow and Athy, Co. Kildare along the way. They then went on to take 3rd and 4th place at the stage finish! There was less than a bike length in it. They won the leading County rider jersey which will be worn by Matteo Cigala. They also took the lead in the Irish team classification. Great to see the Ras Tailteann back travelling on Dan Morrissey Tarmac across 4 counties again!

We are delighted to announce that the Dan Morrissey Quarry group has won the coveted “Quarry of the year” Accolade for its Ballyburn Quarry on the Carlow/Kildare border at Castledermot, Co. Kildare. The Announcement was made at the recent Machinery Movers function. The award was secured in face of stiff competition from quarries both north and south of the border. The Dan Morrissey quarry scored highest on criteria including
• Maintaining the highest standards of Aggregate production,
• Quality and dedication of Employees,
• Adding to the local community, and
• Attention to detail regarding Health and Safety.

All of us in the Dan Morrissey group are extremely proud of all the work that has gone in to secure such an accolade for the company, which was a huge team effort by everybody working together.

Congratulations to Sam Bennett for on his win yesterday on his win on the Champs Elysees and bringing home the Green Jersey. The first Irishman to do it since Sean Kelly back in 1989.
Its been a great journey since Sams first international win in Clara while riding for Team Dan Morrissey.
Well done and continuied success Sam!
