Due to continued growth, David Walsh Civil Engineering Ltd is looking for a Site Engineer / Project Engineer to join our team, working across civil engineering and residential construction projects in the Leinster / South East region.

We’re looking for someone with:
• A relevant engineering/construction qualification or equivalent experience
• 1–4 years’ site-based experience (placements/internships considered)
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in surveying, setting out or site testing is an advantage
• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach

The C**t 1600 Scalper Screen processes and screens material before it is fed into the Rapidmix 400CW, where it is blended into high-quality stabilised material for use on site. By recycling and reusing existing materials wherever possible, we're reducing waste, minimising truck movements and delivering a more sustainable, cost-effective solution.

🚧 One Step Closer to Completion at Abbey Quarter, Kilkenny City!

Every week, Abbey Quarter is moving one step closer to becoming a vibrant new public space for the people of Kilkenny.

At David Walsh Civil Engineering Ltd, we're delighted to see the finishing works really starting to take shape. Recent progress includes:

🌿 The River Walk and Skate Park are complete
🛝 The New Playground is complete
🪴 Planters and seating areas almost complete
⛲Works around the St. Francis Abbey are progressing well

It's fantastic to see the transformation as the vision for Abbey Quarter becomes a reality. A huge thank you to everyone on site for their continued hard work and commitment to delivering another high-quality public space.

We were delighted to attend the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Enniscorthy Regional Water Supply Scheme Upgrade.

This important project will deliver a more resilient, reliable, and higher-capacity water supply for Enniscorthy and the surrounding area, supporting the community for years to come.

At David Walsh Civil Engineering Ltd., we are proud to have been part of the team that delivered this major upgrade alongside Uisce Éireann, Nicholas O'Dwyer Ltd., Ryan Hanley (now part of Stantec), and Cantwell Electrical.

A huge well done to everyone involved, from the design and construction teams to the operations staff who kept the plant running throughout the works. Delivering a complex upgrade while maintaining an operational facility required exceptional teamwork and commitment from all parties.

Congratulations to all involved in the successful completion of this fantastic project! 👏
