🐘💚 A Special Home for Luna the Elephant!

We were delighted to sponsor and lend a helping hand with the installation of Luna the Elephant at her final home outside Carlow Garda Station.

Luna carries a very important message—"Laugh Out Loud Each Day"—reminding us all of the importance of looking after our mental health, checking in on one another, and taking time to talk.

As part of the occasion, Jamie Cassells from DWCE also spoke with KCLR about Luna and the importance of raising awareness around mental health.

We are proud to have played a part in this lovely initiative and to support such an important message within our local community. 💚

Fixture confirmation for the Girls trip to Football Cup Barcelona next weekend.

The girls have 5 group games across 2 days before the final stage of the competition.

First up for the girls is Escola Futbol Gavà from Cataluña, ahead of a clash with Spånga IS Fotboll from Sweden before Saturday is wrapped up with a game against the familiar faces of Kilcullen AFC. Almost 1500km to play a local derby!

Sundays two group games are against St Patrick’s A.F.C of Carlow, and a team from a little further afield in Järna Sportklubb from Sweden.
