DPM Ireland will be joining a host of other trades on DIY SOS in the coming weeks to assist on a very worthwhile project in Cork City.

We’re delighted to be able to announce details of our upcoming TRADES DAY in Cork, for our second build of the year, for the incredible Drummond family. 👷🛠️👷

Trades Day will take place in Neptune Stadium, 95 Gerald Griffin Street, Blackpool, Cork on Wednesday 13th April, and we’d love to meet anyone who is interested in helping us out on this build.

The build itself will be happening from the 10th - 19th May.

Adam Drummond is a 23-year-old former Irish International basketball player who was injured in an accident last year and now has a 1% chance of walking again. His family have had to move into a friend’s ground floor apartment as their home is just not suitable for a wheelchair user, and this is why we are coming to Cork with the ever-motivating Baz Ashmawy, to rebuild their house and allow the family to finally live in their own home again.

As always, we can’t do it alone. We are looking for the following:

· Joinery Companies
· Stair providers
· External platform lift supplier
· Plant & Compost suppliers
· Wallpaper, Curtains, Fabric & Bedding Suppliers
· Artwork & all other Interior furnishings
· Professional Cleaners
· Audio-visual Systems providers

And to all other Volunteers - you name the trade, we need you there.

11:30 - 12.00: Registration time for GROUNDSWORK / PLUMBERS / ELECTRICIANS / LANDSCAPERS / BLOCKLAYERS /
1st fix CARPENTERS.... followed by brief with build team @12.00

14:00 - 14.30: Registration time for 2nd fix CARPENTERS / TILERS / PAINTERS / PLASTERERS / INTERIORS / DECORATORS / JOINERY COMPANIES...followed by brief with build team @14.30pm
