A huge thank you to Tadhg, Brendan and James from Casey's for coming down to Charleville to hand over 3 robotic fairway mowers. On hand to take receipt of the mowers were President Carl Mccarthy, Imelda O Hanlon and grounds keeper Peter Byrne. Watch out for the mowers in action around the course

Ireland is home to some exceptional golf courses, and we’re very grateful to work on some of them.⛳️

Our Robotics team have recently completed the installation of 2 × Echo Robotics TM-1050 commercial robotic mowers at Castletroy Golf Club in Limerick, focused primarily on maintaining tee boxes.

This was a technically detailed project, involving the setup of multiple mowing zones, precise GPS positioning, and carefully designed navigation paths to ensure efficient coverage and a consistently high-quality finish.

These units are equipped with special low cutting disc systems, allowing them to achieve the fine finish required on teeing areas while supporting strong turf health and consistency.

A big thank you to the team at Castletroy Golf Club for their support and collaboration throughout the project — a great result all round.

It’s great to see another course adopting robotic mowing technology and moving towards smarter, more efficient maintenance solutions.

Robotic Mower Tips for a Perfect Lawn

Here are a few simple tips to keep your lawn looking its best:

✔️ Mow little & often
Robotic mowers work best when used regularly. Frequent cutting keeps your grass healthy and evenly trimmed for a greener healthier lawn.

✔️ Start with the right setup
A proper install makes all the difference. Place the charger on flat dry ground with good signal access.

✔️ Adjust cutting height gradually
Start higher and lower it over time to avoid stressing the grass.

✔️ Maintain your mower
Clean and inspect it regularly at least 3 times per week and replace blades when needed for a sharp, tidy finish.

✔️ Work with the seasons
More mowing in spring, less in dry or slow-growing periods. Use app and smart features to adjust schedules remotely.

A little care goes a long way — and your robotic mower will do the rest!

Another successful installation completed this week with the handover of an Echo Robotics TM-2050 for a GAA club.

This powerful robotic mower is now maintaining over 35,000m² of grass, covering two full GAA pitches plus a training area, with its impressive 103cm cutting width ensuring efficient, high-quality results every time.
With over 15 years of experience in robotic mowing solutions, we’re proud to continue supporting clubs across the country.
It’s been a very busy year for our robotics team, and we’re delighted to have more exciting projects already pencilled in for the months ahead.
