Every hour spent on-site matters.

With mobile SLAM scanning, projects that once required multiple static scans can often be completed significantly faster, reducing disruption while improving productivity.

More coverage.
Less setup.
Faster workflows.

That's the advantage of the FJDynamics Trion range.

📍 Reality capture at one of Ireland’s most iconic engineering landmarks.

We were delighted to supply Kilkelly Geo-Spatial Solutions (KGSS) with a Matterport Pro3 Expert Kit, adding another powerful reality-capture tool to their extensive surveying technology portfolio.

Following the handover, our Oliver Murray provided on-site Matterport training at an incredible location — beside the Leviathan of Parsonstown, the Great Telescope at Birr Castle Demesne. 🔭

Completed in 1845 and once the largest telescope in the world, it was the perfect setting to explore how innovative technology can help us capture and understand the world around us.

For KGSS, the Pro3 complements their existing survey-grade workflows, providing a fast and accessible way to capture spatial and visual data and create digital twins.

What if you could capture an entire site simply by walking through it?

Using the FJD Trion P2 LiDAR Scanner, we captured the surrounding environment and transformed it into a detailed, colourised 3D point-cloud representation.

Buildings, roads, vegetation, and surrounding features can all be captured efficiently and brought back to the office for visualisation, measurement, mapping, and further analysis.

Capture once. Explore, measure, and analyse anytime.

A Matterport scan is only the starting point.

With the right post-production, your virtual tour can become a much more effective marketing and visitor-engagement tool.

In our latest article, we look at how you can use:
✅ Matterport Tags to add information, images, video and links
✅ Connected Spaces to link buildings, gardens and accommodation
✅ Website links to drive visitors towards enquiries and bookings

The result is a virtual tour that does more than show your venue — it helps visitors understand it, find what matters to them, and take the next step.
