Most articles referencing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the future of Jobs seem pessimistic and talk about increasing unemployment as the “machines take over” This article offers some balance by highlighting the opportunity for the workers of the future to nurture skills that AI is unlikely to replicate. These involve jobs that exploit creativity, abstract or critical thinking, social or emotional intelligence and, of course, programming and other roles tied to developing AI systems.

Machines are replacing many traditional human tasks.

Some interesting sector and locations trends in a recent report from Morgan McKinley on the Jobs Market in Ireland. Will be interesting to see how these numbers change as we approach the pantomime Brexit (ie oh yes it is - oh no it's not!)

The Morgan McKinley Employment Monitor registered a significant increase of 8.6% in the number of new professional job opportunities available in October compared to the previous month.
