DJI fills an unmet position in the market by offering IN HOUSE design & build services tailored to the individual demands of each project and can therefore adapt in real time throughout the course of any project, adjusting technical details, value engineering and improving procurement processes to maximise the end result. Our philosophy puts an emphasis on listening intently to our clients and finding the right solution tailored specifically to each one. Creating designs that meet the changing needs of our clients is critical to everything we do and we continuously search out and remain on the technological forefront. Our process is rooted in our philosophy of listening, dialogue and providing options in the process of discovery with the client. We present to the client a variety of design alternatives and together discuss the attributes of each scheme. We work with the client to determine the pros and cons to reach a preferred approach. This process fully engages the client in a meaningful and informed dialogue. By including the client into our process, each possibility can be examined in the light of logic that it represents, and solve issues of place and program together.

DJI Group are delighted to have worked along side MDO Architects, Muir Engineers, Kelly O’Callaghan (PQS) & Renaissance (M&E Consultants). The project consisted of a full strip out of all 5 floors along with toilets / reception area & retail space. The works was carried out over 22 weeks where a full CAT A fitout was undertaken on behalf of Wilson Wright, while some 700 staff were housed within the live office, so logistics on this project had to be very accurately planned on a daily basis.

New air handling units along with steel were installed at roof level, to service the new Cat A fitout. The toilets were fully fitted out with new tiling, sanitary ware, ceilings, feature lighting, vanity units and toilet cubicles as well new lift lobbies. The five floor plates consisted of new raised access floors, carpet tiles, 60 minute fire rated glazed partition units, tea stations, new metal pan ceilings, new joinery and new LED lighting along with a full upgrade to the fire alarm & aircon system.

The reception area was completed with new LED vertical fins suspended of the floating mezz offices cantilevering over the reception area and a solid timber batten feature wall along a new state of the art reception desk, media wall, feature lighting, loose furniture and two new turnstiles.

The end result turned out to be a success for our client and we are delighted to have worked with this fantastic design team and look forward to working with them on upcoming projects.

At DJI Group we were faced with our biggest challenge to date on any fitout of its kind ...... you guessed it - the Design & Delivery of our own office at No 3 Castle-street, where every single design/detail was criticized right from the picture wall light that sits over our James Joyce artwork at the reception area to the buster & punch handles that are fitted to each door including storage units.

With the guidance from Zara & Nadim on Design and followed with the delivered on site by Graham Nesbitt & his team we feel we got the best outcome overall.

Our clients like to call the office our live brochure but we just call it our DJI home.

DJI Group has had the pleasure to work for Malcolm Hollis in their new Dublin HQ where we have carried out the full turnkey design & build services on a fast track programme to allow the Malcolm Hollis team to do what they do best in the comfort of their new offices located at 115 Baggot Street Lower, Dublin 2.

Our brief was to make the office a place for all staff to enjoy but at the same time incorporate the iconic Malcolm Hollis orange discreetly within the 5 stories Georgian building. I think we nailed it !!!

DJI Group has recently handed over the full dilapidations contract in One Grants Row Dublin 2 while working alongside Malcolm Hollis for their client Aviva Property Fund. This project consisted of a full strip out of the existing office space and upgrade of mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, fireproofing, common areas, external works, and window enhancements.

The incoming tenants have the freedom to install their own fitout while working of a state of the art building floor plate where a Grade A office envelope has been handed back to Aviva.

We look forward to working with the Malcolm Hollis team again in the near future.
