Our hands are one of our most valuable tools and protecting them is essential.

At Jones Engineering, we believe safety comes first and hand safety is a key part to ensuring our teams are safe every day at work. This month, our team in the Middle East charged a Hand Safety Awareness Campaign on a major Data Centre Project in Saudi Arabia. As the project has just started MEP installation, the team were keen to shine a spotlight on Hand Safety at work and educate our teams on the simple habits they can implement every day to help prevent injuries.

A massive thank you to all involved on organising such a powerful campaign and reminding our teams just how important Hand Safety is on site.

We recently welcomed 22 graduates to our Graduate Induction Day at Engineers Ireland. Joining our Mechanical, Electrical, QS, Finance, HR and Marketing teams, they began their journey with a warm welcome from our CEO, Stephen McCabe.

We are passionate about investing in early careers and are excited to support this talented group through our Graduate Programme. Through mentorship, learning opportunities, and hands-on experience, we aim to equip our graduates with the skills, confidence, and experience to thrive in their careers.

As part of Jones Engineering's July HSE Campaign, one of our Data Centre teams in Saudi Arabia came together to deliver a powerful reminder that every hand matters.

Site personnel formed a human hand to symbolize the shared responsibility we all have in preventing hand injuries and creating a safer workplace.

Safety is about more than procedures; it's about awareness, responsibility, and empathy. Together, we're building a workplace culture where everyone has a role in keeping each other safe and ensuring that every person goes home injury-free.

Our Jones Mechanical and Electrical teams recently came together in Riyadh for a friendly football match, swapping the workplace for the pitch and strengthening the connections that make our teams successful.

Celebrating a major safety milestone at GAMA Athlone! Our team has achieved 1,000,000 man-hours Lost Time Injury Free as of June 2026.

Whether it's heavy lifting, restrictive access works, or major pipework modifications and alterations, this team has approached every task with professionalism, technical skill, and a genuine dedication to raising the bar on health and safety.

Incident prevention isn't just a target, it's the culture that drives everything we do. Huge congratulations to everyone involved in this achievement!

Congratulations to everyone involved in completing the MasterCard project! It was small in scale, but the team brought real focus and drive to every stage of it. They met the work with professionalism, strong teamwork, and a genuine commitment to safety.

The team made great use of our CMS systems and exceeded expectations on EHS leading indicators. They stayed sharp on audits, toolbox talks, green cards, and equipment inspections at every stage.

Well done to the team on being named Project of the Month. Thank you for setting such a great example for the rest of the business. Keep it up!

CDP is a vital industry benchmark for climate action and reinforces our transparent approach to environmental reporting. Our score in their Supplier Engagement Assessment reflects our commitment to continuous engagement with our supply chain on sustainability issues.

In the last year we have conducted supplier workshops, improved our Scope 3 data collection, and have developed closer collaboration across our supply chain on sustainability issues.

Last month, a team of 10 from Jones Engineering came together to take on the Operation Plane Pull fundraiser in support of Cian’s Kennels CLG. This incredible charity enables hospitalised children to have their dogs by their side, providing comfort, companionship, and emotional support during difficult times. Pulling a plane is just as tough as it sounds and required strength, teamwork, and determination from everyone involved, with the team put through their paces from start to finish by the Air Corps.

Unfortunately we didn't win on the day, but we gave it our all and were proud to take part for such a worthwhile cause, raising vital funds and awareness for Cian’s Kennels and the incredible work they do.
