**Stewart Construction Awarded Main Contract for Landmark Bullitt Hotel Development on Capel Street, Dublin 1**

We are proud to announce that Stewart Construction has been appointed as main contractor for the highly anticipated Bullitt Hotel Dublin, located at 133–136 Capel Street, Dublin 1. This landmark project, developed by Irish Hospitality Group, Beannchor, represents a major investment in the regeneration of one of Dublin’s most vibrant and historic commercial districts.

The development involves the transformation of the former Boland’s Bakery—into a premium 98-bedroom hotel. The project will see Stewart Construction deliver a sophisticated blend of heritage restoration and modern architectural innovation.

☀️ Be SunSmart – Skin Cancer Prevention on Site ☀️

As part of our May Health & Safety campaign at our Sackville Place Project, Stewart Construction was delighted to welcome Lisa O Donnell from the HSE, who delivered an informative and engaging SunSmart & Skin Cancer Prevention briefing to our workforce on site.

The session highlighted the importance of protecting outdoor workers from harmful UV exposure and reinforced key SunSmart practices including sunscreen use, hydration, shaded breaks, protective eyewear, and regular skin checks.

At Stewart Construction, we are committed to protecting the health, wellbeing, and safety of our workforce both on and off site.

As part of our May Health & Safety campaign at the Bohermore Project, Stewart Construction was delighted to welcome Caroline Murray from the HSE, who delivered an informative and engaging SunSmart & Skin Cancer Prevention briefing to our workforce both on-site and virtually.

The session highlighted the importance of protecting outdoor workers from harmful UV exposure and reinforced key SunSmart practices including sunscreen use, hydration, shaded breaks, protective eyewear, and regular skin checks.

Our site team also supported the initiative with:

We are looking forward to welcoming speakers from the Health and Wellbeing to our sites at Sackville Place, Dublin and Bohermore, Galway this morning. These skin cancer prevention sessions will focus on ‘How to be SunSmart in the workplace’ - These sessions will provide useful guidance on sun safety, particularly relevant for those working outdoors, and will cover practical steps to help protect our workers health while on site.

Some great aerial images of the progress on site at Sackville Place in Dublin City Centre.

This seven storey tourism accommodation project, for our client Firethorn, will consist of 138 bedrooms featuring a mix of double, triple and quadruple bunk dormitory rooms, alongside private double rooms. Modern communal social spaces across the ground floor and basement will be open to the public as well as guests, including a bar, café and lounge.

We are delighted to announce the completion of our Home2Suites by Hilton project. This new Dublin City centre hotel opened its doors to the public yesterday morning.

This design and build development consisted of the refurbishment and change of use of the existing Telephone House building, on Marlborough Street, Dublin 1, from office use to a 290 room Aparthotel for Home2 Suites by Hilton. The Aparthotel spans 10 floors over basement and is the first of Home2Suites by Hilton brand in Western Europe.

Congratulations to all involved on this project and we wish this new hotel the very best for the future.
