⚠️ Diisocyanate Training Reminder

Are you using polyurethane-based products that contain diisocyanates?

Legislation that came into place on 24 August 2023 means industrial and professional users may need to complete training before using certain polyurethane-based products.

This may apply to products such as:
✔️ PU adhesives
✔️ PU sealants
✔️ PU coatings
✔️ PU foams
✔️ Other polyurethane-based systems containing diisocyanates

The regulations are designed to support safer handling and use of products containing diisocyanates.

ECT offers polyurethane-based hot melts without diisocyanates. However, there are currently no diisocyanate-free alternatives to liquid polyurethanes with the same properties.
