C&B Agri Enterprise Achieves EU Type Certification for the C-BIO CPS Biostimulant Range
We are proud to announce that the C-BIO CPS range has been awarded EU Type Examination Certification under the EU Fertilising Products Regulation (EU) 2019/1009.
This certification formally recognises C-BIO CPS as a Non-Microbial Plant Biostimulant (PFC 6B) with a documented claim for improving nutrient use efficiency.
For many years, farmers have trusted C-BIO CPS to support crop performance through our unique seaweed-based technology. This certification now provides independent regulatory verification of what growers have consistently observed in the field — improved nutrient efficiency leading to stronger, healthier and more resilient crops.

Derived from Ascophyllum Nodosum seaweed extracts classified under CMC 1 and CMC 2, the C-BIO CPS range combines natural marine-based ingredients with proven agronomic performance. The certification covers the full C-BIO CPS product family, making it one of the broadest certified biostimulant portfolios developed in Ireland.

As fertiliser costs remain under pressure and environmental regulations continue to evolve across Europe, improving nutrient use efficiency has become increasingly important.
