Junior Solar Electrician (QC Registered)

Location: Ireland (Various Project Sites)

Company: One of Ireland’s fastest-growing solar energy providers
Are you a qualified electrician with a passion for renewable energy? Join a company known for top-tier installations, uncompromising safety standards, and a collaborative, people-first culture. We are expanding our team and looking for a Solar Electrician to lead the electrical side of domestic and commercial PV installations and drive quality.

What You’ll Do:
• Install: Take charge of full electrical installations for Solar PV systems (panels, inverters, batteries, and isolators).
• Grid Connection: Safely integrate systems into building networks and the national grid, installing switchgear, breakers, and meters.
• Test & Commission: Run comprehensive diagnostics, performance checks, and troubleshoot faults to ensure seamless handover.
• Uphold Quality: Maintain clean, organized wiring and ensure 100% compliance with IS 10101 and safety regulations.
• Collaborate: Work alongside roofers and other subcontractors.

What You Bring:
• Certifications: Fully qualified Electrician (National Craft Certificate or equivalent) + Safe Electric (REC) registration.
• Experience: Minimum 1 years in electrical installation with proven Solar PV experience (QC and SEAI registered).
• Logistics: Full, clean driver’s license (willing to travel to sites) and comfort working outdoors

We at NFC Energy installed a ground mounted system as this allowed our customer to install the most suitable system for their home.
The customer also had a Solis Hybrid Inverter installed along with a Dyness battery pack.
For this customer installing solar was not just about saving on their electricity bills but also to invest in their home.
We now monitor their system through our Solis App and we are notified of any issues, once we are notified our tech specialist is straight onto the customer to solve the issue.
