Honda Civic EG Carbon Fibre Doors

Another example of parts we make for the EG Civic chassis. We make both the LHS and RHS doors (suitable for motorsport only).
Our carbon doors weigh 3.4kg and the oem door minus glass is 21kg!
Extras available
• Flat carbon door panel made to suit the door and fitted with rivetnuts/dome head allen bolts
• Inside door handle carbon
• Outer door latch with no keyhole
• 4mm Lexan windows (long lead time)

13kg weight saving on the rear!

There are big weight-saving opportunities across the Honda Civic EG platform, but today we’re focusing on the rear bootlid/screen area.

We set out to solve two key issues:
1️⃣ The OEM rear glass, steel bootlid, and plastic spoiler weigh over 19kg.
2️⃣ The flip-down bootlid always gets in the way when accessing the rear of the car.

Our complete lightweight replacement unit comes in at just 6.4kg, including the lights and steel hinges (not currently supplied, but we can source and install lights on request).

Included in the assembly:
• Carbon spoiler
• 4mm hard-coated Lexan window (Plastics 4 Performance)
• OEM rubber window trim around the Lexan
• Carbon bootlid

Note: This is not a full carbon frame, the Lexan is bonded to an OEM-style carbon bootlid.

We can make up the assembly or sell the individual parts so get in touch to discuss.

Honda Civic EG Quarter Panel Information

During the large amount of recent queries and sales of our carbon/kevlar quarters we had a lot of people ask the following

a) "Are they complete replacements or over fenders?”

They are complete replacements

b) "How much of the original steel needs to be removed and how are they fitted to the B and C pillar?"

See attached pictures of our own chassis, this was how the chassis was prepared including the toggle joint on the B and C pillar.

We make a lightweight version for competition cars and a heavier/thicker version for street/road cars.
