That's exactly what we saw as colleagues from across the business gathered in Galway for our AI Innovation Day. Through collaboration, idea sharing, practical insights and positive, forward-looking discussions, we explored how AI can drive efficiency, unlock new opportunities and support better ways of working.

The energy in the room reinforced a simple reality: the true power of AI lies not in the technology itself, but in enabling people to focus their time, expertise and creativity on higher-value activities, helping us deliver our best work.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗝𝗝 𝗥𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗯𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Our Bid and Marketing Manager, Anna Nolan, and Project Director, Phil Davies, joined fellow framework partners at the mobilisation event in Birmingham yesterday, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for JJ Rhatigan.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with peers, gain insights into the framework and learn more about the opportunities ahead. Thank you to the Pagabo team for hosting such an informative and engaging day.

𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝘂𝗯

We are delighted to share that JJ Rhatigan has won Contractor Health Project of the Year for Cork Surgical Hub at the 2026 Irish Construction Industry Awards, coming just after the Hub’s official opening.

Located on the Cork University Hospital (CUH) campus, this 6,896m² purpose-built facility provides elective surgical, outpatient and minor procedure capacity in a modern clinical environment. Once fully operational, it is expected to deliver approximately 8,000 additional day-case procedures, 5,700 minor operations and over 18,400 outpatient appointments each year, helping to reduce waiting times for patients.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in delivering this landmark healthcare project. Well done to all involved.

𝗝𝗝 𝗥𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗯𝗼’𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The £5bn National Framework will run for four years and is the third generation of Pagabo’s major works framework, available for use across sectors, including local government, NHS, health, blue light, housing and education.

Commenting on the announcement, Tom Neylon, Managing Director, said: “Being awarded this place reflects the experience, capability and expertise of our teams, and we look forward to working with Pagabo and its clients to deliver high-quality projects and positive outcomes for people and places.”
