There’s something special about visiting local GAA grounds. These clubs are the heartbeat of their communities, run by dedicated volunteers who give countless hours to keep facilities safe, welcoming and compliant.

This week I had the privilege of visiting several clubs across Wicklow, reviewing key areas including:

✅ Risk Assessments
✅ Volunteer & Staff Safety Responsibilities
✅ Grounds & Facility Inspections
✅ Emergency Procedures
✅ Contractor Management
✅ Training Requirements
✅ Child Safeguarding Support Measures

The mural behind me reads “Club Beag, Croí Mór”, which translates to:

“Small Club, Big Heart.”

For me, that perfectly reflects my approach to supporting businesses and community organisations:

“Big Support, Local Service.”
