Draiocht Drama Group is a Dublin-based amateur theatre group dedicated to celebrating Irish drama and culture. Located on the Navan road and established 58 years. The group brings live theatre into local communities through one-night performances in local venues, raising vital funds for local charities while making the arts accessible to all.

About the Play – In the Shadow of a Gunman

In the Shadow of a Gunman by Seán O’Casey is a powerful and darkly humorous Irish classic, set in a Dublin tenement during the War of Independence. The play explores how ordinary lives are shaped by fear, rumours, and mistaken identity, blending wit and tragedy in a compelling portrait of life under conflict.
