☀️ 220MW Solar Farm in Co. Tipperary now energised!

We’re delighted to have contributed to this major project alongside Wills Bros Group, delivering the electrical infrastructure across Erkina, Monaincha and Derrymore.
As part of the project, Dunreidy Engineering, together with our team of subcontractors, delivered the 33kV MV Interconnector works, including:

• 33kV interconnector cabling between Erkina, Monaincha and Derrymore
• Fibre cabling between the main interconnector transformers across the three sites
• 60km+ of 33kV-rated power cabling through underground ducting
• 20km+ of fibre cabling through underground ducting
• Jointing, termination and testing of 33kV-rated power cabling
• Fibre splicing, connections and testing

A project of this scale required close coordination, technical expertise and a strong team effort from start to finish.

We’d like to thank Wills Bros Group for the opportunity and their professional site teams for their continued collaboration throughout the project.
We’re delighted with the work completed and look forward to supporting further projects across Ireland’s growing renewable energy sector.
