Congratulations Alan Dan and team. Proud moment for Kilkenny Brewing again. 👏👏👏👏👏

It’s with great pride that the malty-sweet aroma of ale brewing fills the air once again in Kilkenny.

Early this morning 190kg of malt was milled and mashed to grist, soon after entering the lautering and sparging process. Now, our first brew has been successfully created, and is currently transferring from the lauter tun to the kettle, where the hops will be added. Then it’s on to its 2-week home in the fermenter tank, where it will gradually become our Maltings Red Ale.

Truly a momentous day for the team.
