Based in Kinsale, I provide a unique service covering many aspects of Motor Vehicle Technology and Engineering. I have enjoyed 30yrs+ of experience in the Automotive Sector including several years involved with Professional Motorsport at International level. and once qualified, I worked in some of the busiest Dealerships in Ireland. to pursue my passion for Rally and Sports Cars. Having held various positions with some Club level Motorsport outfits, I was hired by The RML Group and while there, worked my way up to the highest levels including Le Mans Prototypes, J.W.R.C. The RML Group are one of the largest and most successful Race Car Constructors in the world. Some of the positions I held there were, No.1 Mechanic, Car Build Technician and Chief Race Fabricator. I was also heavily involved with their R&D Program and gained broad experience in design and production techniques. Today I operate Dempsey's Garage which was first opened by my Grandfather, Dan in 1924. I have added a range of machines to Dempsey's arsenal and can now offer Turning, Milling and Tig welding facilities. At Dempsey's Garage I provide a personal 1-to-1 service that caters for the needs of Motorists and Car Enthusiasts alike. Our key services include:
