Due to recently opening an in-house fabrication workshop we are looking to hire a Junior Mechanical Engineer.

Role
Interfacing with customers regarding their requirements so as to deliver technical engineering solutions.
Using 3D modelling software (Inventor) to produce drawings for the customer’s approval on a given project.
Ordering material and laser cut parts etc. to complete the project.
Overseeing the project regarding customer changes, on time delivery and other issues that may arise.
Building a strong working relationship with our customers which may involve site visits.

Skills/Experience/Personal Attributes
Experience of the stainless fabrication industry an advantage but not essential
Degree qualification in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience and ability to use 2D and 3D modelling Software – (extra training will be provided if required).
Be mechanically minded and passionate to drive mechanical engineering solutions.
Ability to work on one’s own initiative and over time manage more complex projects.
Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

We are a one-stop-shop engineering service with clients ranging from the Food, Dairy & Pharmaceutical Plants, Water Treatment and Construction Industries, also specializing in various custom designed projects and general bespoke items.

Based in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, our 13,000 square foot workshop provides a base for the fabrication on a variety of projects. The facility is fitted with modern offices with an up to date computer system to supply the back up and documentation which is required for a lot of today’s projects.
