This year’s theme, “Know Your Numbers,” highlights the importance of understanding key health indicators such as blood pressure, weight, and overall body composition. Many serious health conditions can develop without obvious symptoms, which is why regular health checks are so important.

Throughout the week, we’ll be visiting our sites and offices, giving our team the opportunity to learn more about their health and wellbeing through simple, preventative health checks.

🚧 Night‑Time Heritage Restoration at Kent Station!

Our team is carrying out essential heritage restoration on the station’s historic gable end — and we’re doing it entirely at night to ensure there’s no disruption to passengers or daily travel.

What’s happening on site:
• Scaffold access installed on both platforms
• Structural propping to stabilise the building
• Full encapsulation for safe lead‑paint removal by certified specialists
• Removal and secure storage of original glass
• Cutting out damaged timber and replacing it with new pitched pine
• All works completed to strict heritage‑conservation standards

Working through the night, preserving history, and keeping the station moving — that’s the PBC way.

We were delighted to attend the recent business breakfast hosted by the Limerick Mental Health Association and were truly grateful to receive this thoughtful thank-you card from the team.

PBC has proudly supported the Limerick Mental Health Association for many years, and we remain committed to promoting the importance of mental health awareness and wellbeing across our workplace, our communities, and our homes.

Mental health affects us all. By encouraging open conversations, supporting one another, and raising awareness, we can help create environments where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to seek help when they need it.

A sincere thank you to the Limerick Mental Health Association for the incredible work they do every day and for bringing together businesses and community leaders to champion such an important cause.

Progress is moving at pace on our Thomas Street project. New floors have now been installed, roof reconstruction is well underway and steel works commenced this week. It’s great to see the transformation taking shape, thanks to the continued hard work and dedication of everyone involved on site. We’re looking forward to sharing more updates as this exciting project continues to progress. 🚧🏗️
