This recognition highlights the skill, technical precision, and craftsmanship our team brings to complex architectural fabrication.

Another inspiring episode of DIY SOS on RTÉ One! This week, the team visited Limerick to transform the home of the Purcell family - Alex, Nikita, AJ, and toddler Carter, who lives with a rare genetic condition.

As a series supplier, OMC Engineered Solutions was proud to support this incredible build by providing structural steelwork, support columns, and reinforcing mesh for their new home extension.

A huge well done to the DIY SOS team, the local volunteers, and everyone involved in making this life-changing home adaptation possible.

We are thrilled to see DIY SOS back on RTÉ One, showcasing incredible transformations for deserving families across Ireland.

In the season premiere, Baz and the team visited Kildare to build a beautiful new home for Ramona and her son, Oran.

As an official series supplier, OMC Engineering Solutions was proud to design and craft a bespoke swing chair specially built for Ramona and Oran to enjoy in their new home.

Congratulations to Oran Connors – University of Limerick Science & Engineering Co-op Student of the Year 2026.

Under the stewardship of Stephen Cummins and John Houlihan, Oran progressed to a full-time role as a Mechanical Design / Project Engineer – a great example of the engineering talent and expertise we are committed to developing within OMC.

Already, Oran has built an impressive track record, including:
- Design Engineer for Ireland’s first additively manufactured liquid rocket engine
- Founding Developer of Weld-Net, an Enterprise Ireland-funded computer vision system for weld inspection
- Published author at the 2026 Irish Machine Vision and Image Processing Conference

At OMC, our ability to support clients from concept to completion ultimately comes down to the expertise, innovation and commitment of our people.

Our new identity is driven by the professional dedication of our workforce.

Last week brought our team together across our Limerick and Thurles facilities to launch our new brand, OMC Engineered Solutions, and align our collective focus for the future.
