Weโre proud to announce the successful completion of the Desert Bloom Storage Project in Maricopa County, Arizona.
With 600 MWh of standalone battery energy storage, Desert Bloom represents a significant milestone for Arizonaโs energy infrastructure and is the stateโs largest standalone energy storage facility.
The project has the capacity to store enough energy to supply the equivalent of 72,000 homes for up to four hours, while supporting the integration of renewable energy and helping strengthen grid reliability as energy demand continues to grow.
As Arizona progresses towards a cleaner and more resilient energy future, projects like Desert Bloom will play an important role in supporting the evolving energy landscape and delivering the infrastructure needed for a more sustainable grid.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the successful delivery of this project โ from our dedicated field teams and project managers to our engineers and support teams. Your commitment to safety, quality and excellence was instrumental in bringing this project to completion.
Delivered by Cooke Power Services, part of the H&MV Engineering Group, Desert Bloom demonstrates our continued commitment to delivering critical energy infrastructure across the US through technical expertise, innovation and a safety-first approach.
Another important milestone for our teams in North America โ and a project weโre proud to have delivered.
