This summer has been quite hot so far – but so was our event calendar! Less than in a month after RealizeLIVE Americas, another big event took place in Amsterdam – RealizeLIVE Europe. The team (pictured above) was excited to see the growing interest in RapidAuthor, both on customer and on partner side. Visitors were able see the Cortona3D software in action not only at our own booth, but also in presentations and demos held by our customers, resellers and technological partners.
One of the highlights was a case study session titled "Automated spare part books in Teamcenter/RapidAuthor", arranged by Jørgen Beck, Digitalization & Documentation Manager of Alfa Laval. The presentation was dedicated to their journey from time-consuming hands-on creation of spare part books (SPC) to having them done directly in Teamcenter via Rapid Author. As every journey it has its challenges, but the benefits are worth it. They predict that not only their customers will benefit, but the whole service organization, through time savings, improvement of SPC' accuracy and claim reduction to mention just a few.
