Building the capabilities of our people is one of our core strategic pillars and we marked a very special milestone on Friday as we celebrated the Class of 2026 - the first group to complete our two-year Graduate Development Programme.

Congratulations to Evan Seymour, Eoghan Carroll, Darragh O'Sullivan, Patrick O'Mahony, Arshia Athwal, Dawid Herdzik, Aatiq Dar and Anand Balagaon, who were presented with their certificates by our Managing Director Patrick Buckley, Contracts Director John Lynch and Technical Director Jim Palmer.

Our Graduate Development Programme is about much more than completing a series of training modules.

Over two years, our graduates have had the opportunity to work on real projects, develop their technical and professional skills, visit sites and different areas of the business and most importantly - learn from the knowledge and experience of their colleagues right across EPS.

That combination of learning and doing is exactly what we hoped to achieve when the programme was established: giving graduates a strong foundation for their careers while developing a much broader understanding of how our business works.

And while one class graduates, another is already well underway. We're now halfway through the second cycle of the programme and are delighted with how it continues to develop.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 - we're thrilled that you are continuing your careers within EPS Group and we look forward to seeing where that journey takes you! 👏🎓

What a busy, but productive day!

Delighted to welcome James Herlihy, Sean Levis, Shane O’Neill, Paul O’Leary, Kevin Herlihy and Martin O’Sullivan from Drinagh Co-Op to Mallow for a product training day.

After introductions, teas and coffees, we got things underway with a brief company overview before getting into the nitty gritty of discussing some of our water treatment, solar, pumping and boosting solutions as well as showing them some of our recently developed interactive selection tools.

After refuelling at lunch, it was time to walk it off as we gave our guests a tour of our Product Sales and Distribution Centre, giving them a greater insight into our internal operations, assembly as well as our stockholding.

Overall, a great opportunity to share our knowledge with a valued supply chain partner, to answer their questions and we look forward to working even more closely with the team in the future.

The sod has officially been turned on the €23 million upgrade of Ballymahon Wastewater Treatment Plant in Co. Longford.

We are proud to be delivering this important project in partnership with Uisce Éireann Irish Water.

The project will almost double the capacity of the existing treatment plant, increasing it from a population equivalent (PE) of 2,125 to 4,150. This additional capacity will support future growth and development in Ballymahon and the surrounding area while helping to safeguard water quality in the River Inny.

Once complete, the upgraded wastewater treatment plant will:

💧Improve the quality of treated water discharged to the River Inny
🌱Ensure continued compliance with national and EU environmental standards
📈Provide the capacity needed to support future growth and development in Ballymahon and the surrounding area

Projects like this are about more than infrastructure. They are about protecting the River Inny, supporting sustainable growth and ensuring Ballymahon has the wastewater services needed to support homes, businesses and future development for generations to come.

We look forward to sharing updates as work progresses and thank the local community for their continued support and cooperation throughout the construction phase.

Representing us on the day were Project Manager Eoghan Kelly and Project Engineer Oisin McGlinchey.

One of the most common conversations we had at yesterday's Castlerea Agricultural Show in Co. Roscommon was about reliable ways to get water to livestock without mains power ☀️🚜

Well! Luckily for everyone, Stephen Coyne and Dermot Keavney from our Ballyhaunis Product Sales team were on hand with our LORENTZ Solar Pumping System, one of the newest products in our growing range of solar solutions.

Visitors also had the opportunity to explore our ever-popular Multiboost pressure boosting range, water softeners, filtration systems and a wide selection of pumps and accessories.

Events like these are a great opportunity to have real conversations about the day-to-day challenges farmers face and demonstrate solutions that can make life easier on the farm.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by - we hope to see you in-branch soon! 😉

Our EPS merchandise has been clocking up the miles again this summer!

Whether it's a family holiday, a hiking adventure or simply making the most of the summer sunshine, it's great to see a little bit of EPS travelling with our colleagues, friends and family.

Over the past few weeks, our brand has been spotted in some incredible locations, including:

Mont Saint-Michel, France, where DPS’ Gareth Wilson and his family put the rucksack through its paces.

Zakynthos, Greece, where EPS Water UK's Shaun Stevens has been keeping hydrated with his EPS water bottle, while it was also spotted in 🇺🇸 Yellowstone National Park, USA.

Keep the photos coming - we can't wait to see where our logo pops up next! 📸

Friday, July 31st is the second of 2 EPS Company Days, which will see a reduced service within some of our divisions ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.

While our main offices will be closed, due to the nature of our business, not everyone will be able to take the day off tomorrow, so Service & Repair and Operations will still be contactable via the usual numbers and will take their day at a later stage.

Our Product Sales and Goods Inwards teams in Mallow, Ballyhaunis and Mountrath will be open but operating with fewer staff than usual, so please bear that in mind and place orders for collection in advance, if possible.

Normal service resumes after the Bank Holiday on August 4th ☀

From behind the lens... to beside the captain. 📸🏆💚❤️

When Sam Maguire returned to Ballyhaunis last night, there was a familiar face there to capture every moment as our own Ciara Buckley was on duty for local media, documenting a homecoming that the town will remember for years to come.

Through Memories thru a Lens/SportPics by Ciara, she's usually the one behind the camera - but on this occasion, she took a well-earned moment to step in front of it alongside Mayo captain Jack Coyne, a proud Ballyhaunis man who was equally proud to bring Sam home.

Congratulations to Ciara on capturing such a special occasion and to Jack, the Mayo squad and supporters across the county on an unforgettable All-Ireland victory. 🏆

And don't worry - EPS Ballyhaunis is very much open for business!

While our Mayo colleagues continue to enjoy the celebrations, teammates from neighbouring counties have been making sure everything keeps running smoothly... although we suspect there'll still be plenty of green and red around the office for a while yet!

Safe to say there was a bit of celebrating in Ballyhaunis this morning! 🏆

There may have been a slightly slower start than usual but spirits certainly aren't lacking! 😉

With Mayo bringing Sam home yesterday, our Ballyhaunis team arrived to a sea of green and red as the celebrations continued into today.

As it turns out, their phones are diverted to our colleagues in Mallow today. Did they know something the rest of us didn't?! 🤔😆

With deep rooted GAA connections within the branch, this is a sweet day for Mayo and us.

Our heartiest and warmest congratulations to the Mayo players, management and supporters on a fantastic All-Ireland victory.

Enjoy every minute of it - we certainly will 😆

When EPS met EGPS 😆

This week, John O'Brien from our Products team attended the Teagasc Dairy Calf to Beef Farm Open Day at Ballyvadin Farm, Co. Tipperary, alongside Gerard Cantwell of EGPS - Electrical Generators and Pump Services !

Having been invited by Teagasc to showcase our solar-powered pumping solutions, it was fantastic to speak with the hundreds of farmers who attended throughout the day about practical, renewable ways to supply water to livestock and remote locations.

As always, there was plenty of interest in how solar pumping can help farmers:

☀️ Deliver reliable off-grid water supplies
💧 Reduce the need to transport water to remote paddocks
📱 Monitor and control systems remotely via smartphone
⚡ Lower running costs with clean, renewable energy
🚜 Install dependable pumping solutions where mains power isn't available

Events like these are invaluable for sharing knowledge, answering real-world questions and helping farmers identify solutions that can make day-to-day operations simpler, more efficient and more sustainable.

A big thank you to Teagasc for the opportunity meet so many farmers and discuss how renewable pumping technology is supporting the future of Irish agriculture.

When the Women's Shed in Mallow needed a reliable source of fresh drinking water, we were delighted to help!

It's always rewarding to hear how something as simple as better drinking water can make a real difference.

These ladies are now enjoying fresh, filtered water every day - and according to one member, the tea is so good she comes to every meeting now just for a cup! If that's not a seal of approval, we don't know what is! ☕💧
