☀️ Solar Panel Grant Reduction ☀️
Hi All,
For anyone considering installing Solar PV panels, please be aware that the current SEAI maximum grant of €2100 will be reduced by €300 from the 1st of January 2025.
However, if you complete the online grant application before the 1st of January, you will secure the grant before it is reduced and will have 8 months to complete your installation. If you decide not to do the installation at all, then no harm done. The grant will simply expire and you can re-apply another time for the reduced sum.
The online application takes just a few minutes on the SEAI website and approval is almost immediate.
Every house built before 2021 is eligible for the Solar PV grant and most houses are able to fit enough panels (10 usually)to receive the maximum grant.
