Further update re Callum:

Flooding is expected on coastal routes in County Galway, due to forecasted high winds, with gusts of up to 130km/h and very high astronomical Spring tides. Drivers are advised to avoid all coastal routes and to make alternative route plans.

The Council is making sand bags available for collection by those whose properties are in vulnerable areas:

Kinvara – 250 filled sandbags have been distributed to the Square in Kinvara, a further number of filled sandbags will be delivered and left in the Square for use by those in properties which may be exposed to flooding. If any more sandbags are required please contact the Council office in Gort – 091 509065.

Oranmore – 5,000 filled sandbags are available in the Council depot in Tonroe, Clarinbridge. There is a further supply of sandbags and sand at this location.

Drivers are advised to only venture out if necessary, trees that may already be weakened by previous Ali are a potential hazard.

WEATHER WARNING !

There is a code level orange weather warning in place from 10.00 p.m. Thursday 11th October to 12.00 p.m. Friday 12th October 2018.

Storm Callum, with expected strong winds, coinciding with very high astronomical Spring tides of up to 6m will affect coastal areas from Thursday night to Friday midday. Coastal flooding and debris is expected on all roads. Drivers are advised to avoid coastal routes during this time and to proceed with extreme caution.

Denzel Ntomo 18 years Dublin
Gardaí are seeking the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of Denzel Ntomo, 18 years, who is missing from Ballybrack area of Dublin since the 21st August 2018.

He is described as being approximately 5'10", with black hair, of stocky build with brown eyes. When last seen he was wearing a red t-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and black runners. He was carrying a blue backpack.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to contact Gardai in Shankhill on 01 666 5900.

Missing Person Kalem Murphy, 17 years
Gardaí wish to seek the public's help in locating the whereabouts of 17 year old Kalem Murphy, who is missing from Lucan, Co. Dublin. Kalem was last seen on Thursday the 16th of August 2018 at approx. 19.20pm.

Kalem is described as 5' 10", slim build with blonde hair, he was last seen wearing white jeans with cuts in the knees, blue t-shirt, cream jacket and burgundy runners.

Missing person Elaine Sweeney 15 years missing since the 19th August 2018
Gardaí in Store St wish to seek the public's help in locating the whereabouts of 15 year old Elaine Sweeney, who is missing from Dublin since the 19th of August 2018. Elaine was last seen on Jervis St Dublin 1 at approximately 3.30pm.

Elaine is described as 5' 2", slight build with long brown hair, brown eyes and wearing stonewashed jeans, red top and red shoes.
