Welder / Fabricator - Salary depending on experience
At Robinson we specialise in the production of HGV trailers, cranes, tippers and bodies.
The role will involve the fabrication, welding of chassis and sub-assemblies
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
· Perform all types of MIG welds.
· Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
· Knowledge of mechanical process plant and associated maintenance activities in the distribution industry is desirable but not essential.
· The use of overhead crane, forklift, all hand tools, air tools, electric tools are part of the role.
· Ability to problem solve, be observant to CAD, attention to detail in reading drawings and templates to correctly lay out pieces.
· Meet production targets while maximising efficiency.
· Ensure Health and Safety is always adhered to.
· Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
What you will bring:
· Industrial welding experience.
· Strong communication skills, with good working knowledge of the English language.
· Organisational skills, with the ability to plan, organise and control your daily workload.
· Manual Handling certificate desired, training can be provided.
· Must have a valid work permit to work in Republic of Ireland to be considered.
Manual Handling certificate desirable as some heavy lifting will be required.
Good rates and conditions will be negotiated with the correct candidate.
