Great team morning out yesterday for the Teagasc Spring Pasture Morning at the farm of one of our egate customers, Darragh Scully.

Opening Cover of 1125kgN/ha on 15th Jan, and now has 45% grazed to date, with turn out starting on February 4th.

Key Message on the day from Teagasc was “Get them out when you can or we run into problems later”

Readjust plans if behind:
- if 20+ % grazed by March 1st: then 50% by Patrick’s Day, 100% by 10th April.

- If 0-10% grazed by March 1st; Then 30% by Patrick’s Day, 60% by April 1st; 100% by April 20th.

Average Farm Cover (AFC) should be above 800 in March 1st. if Low AFC
