A wonderful day celebrating inclusion, achievement and community!

Last Thursday we were delighted to welcome Special Olympics Ireland athletes, families and supporters to Ei Electronics, recognising the incredible achievements of the Clare athletes we were proud to support at the 2026 Special Olympics Ireland Summer Games.

The day was filled with smiles, joy and shared experiences, bringing everyone together and creating some wonderful memories that we hope will stay with all involved.

Ei Electronics and Rugby Agree New Five-Year Partnership

Ei Electronics, Shannon, Ireland’s leading indigenous electronics company, has signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with Munster Rugby. The Ei Electronics logo will feature on the right sleeve of all Munster jerseys, for both the Senior Men’s and Women’s squads, between now and the 2030/31 seasons.

Announcing the new sponsorship, Mick Guinee, Founder and Chairman of Ei Electronics, said: “For several years we have been seeking the right opportunity to sponsor our provincial team and now I believe we have found it; our logo on the sleeve of all jerseys will give exposure to our brand nationally and internationally. As an Irish Company based in Shannon and with employees from Clare, Limerick, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford, we are proud to support Munster Rugby.”

Ei Electronics today announced the acquisition of Limerick-based Company CUBE, an award winning and leading provider of design, print and packaging solutions.

From its modern 20,000ft² Limerick Operation CUBE serves a network of high value clients throughout Ireland spanning Electronics, Medtech, Government, Food & Beverage and the Hospitality sectors.

Commenting on the Acquisition Ei Electronics CEO Leo Clancy said “This is a significant development for the Ei Electronics Group. ⚽ Battle of the Bays Five-a-Side 2026 ⚽

This month saw the return of our annual Battle of the Bays Five-a-Side tournament, bringing together teams across our Shannon campus for some great competition and a bit of friendly rivalry.

The tournament came to a close last Friday with the final match between the Office Team and the Stores Team. After a hard-fought game, the Stores Team took the win and were crowned this year’s champions.

Well done to everyone who took part and helped make the event a success. It was great to see colleagues from across the Company come together, enjoy the game, and show some excellent teamwork.

Looking forward to next year’s tournament.
