On Day 4 of MTM Engineering’s '𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀' initiative in support of Construction Industry Federation 's 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻, our teams focused on Don’t Walk By, highlighting how everyone can demonstrate safety leadership through their actions as part of CIF’s Leadership theme.

During morning toolbox talks across our project sites, our teams discussed the importance of recognising unsafe conditions, speaking up and reporting potential hazards to help keep themselves and others safe.

On Day 3 of MTM Engineering’s '𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀' initiative in support of 𝗖𝗜𝗙’𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻, our teams focused on The Final Check is Yours, highlighting the importance of individual responsibility for safety as part of CIF’s Frontline Workers theme.

During yesterday morning’s toolbox talks, our site teams discussed the importance of understanding the task, identifying potential risks and checking that all necessary safety controls are in place before starting work to keep themselves and others safe.

During morning toolbox talks, our teams discussed the support available through Lyra Wellbeing (EAP) and the importance of creating a working environment where everyone feels comfortable speaking up and seeking help.

To kick off MTM Engineering’s '𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀' initiative in support of 𝗖𝗜𝗙’𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻, our site teams focused on Live Energies, highlighting the importance of managing hazardous energy risks as part of CIF’s Critical Risks theme.

Through toolbox talks and demonstrations, our teams covered key safety practices, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, which help control hazardous energy during equipment servicing and maintenance and reinforce safe working practices across our project sites.

MTM Engineering is proud to support the Construction Industry Federation Construction Safety Campaign 2026, running from 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵-𝟮𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 under the theme '𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀'.

The campaign challenges companies across the construction industry to refocus on the fundamentals of safety, health and wellbeing, strengthen safe working practices and reinforce personal responsibility on every site.

Over the next two weeks, we'll focus on five key campaign themes, linking each to a specific safety and wellbeing priority at MTM Engineering:

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗠𝗩 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 - 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲

MTM Engineering is recruiting experienced MV Jointers to join our team on projects across Europe. In this role, you will carry out medium-voltage electrical installation, termination, maintenance and testing works.

Key responsibilities include:
MV terminations up to 36KV
Glanding and terminating AWA/SWA, XLPE, PILC and MDPE cables
Nexans Euromold/Monoi and Tyco terminations
MV cable testing, including Megger and VLF testing
